The overall shape of the KI Desk is fluid and does not reveal any visible fastening or attachment systems.
Its two legs, wider at their base to support its free-form top, draw the eye to the fascinating grain pattern created by the interplay of rhythm and contrast between the end grain and the edge grain wood.
The KI collection is a range entirely designed to be made to measure and adapt to monumental dimensions.
Playing on assemblies of grain wood (cut in the direction of the grain) and end-grain wood (cut perpendicularly) and with the Japanese technique of Yakisugi which slightly fossilizes the surface of the material, the wood is transformed and takes on an almost mineral appearance.
