Her very first success is called Cosmogonies and takes the form of Japanese paper wall sconces made up of polygons illuminated by LEDs, to be assembled as desired. Lauded in 2015 with the Les Découvertes award at the Maison & Objet fair, this creation also received the VIA label (valorization of innovation in furniture). Drawn in a single stroke like a calligraphy, the Daiku console synthesizes her writing: the grain of the solid wood in deep black embraces the harmony of the form between purity and sensuality. This quintessentially metonymic creation - in Japanese, daiku refers both to the carpenter and, his tool, the hammer - took shape upon returning from a trip to Japan where the designer crossed the sacred mountains to the rhythm of the torii gates. The Daiku console is now among her bestsellers. In 2025, its Tripode Ki table, for its part, joined the collections of the Mobilier National, and its KI console received the French Design label.

Each of her creations pushes the transformation of materials even further, whether it is the transparency of glass or the subtle assembly of solid wood pieces sourced from French forests. Challenges that only the technique and passion of artisans, cabinetmakers or glassblowers, can meet. Victoria Magniant cultivates the art of the invisible. "Everything that is beautiful, she says, is found in the details, in what is not seen." The designer works on the color, veining, texture, and structure of her pieces like an artist to create fluid and sensual forms inspired by Jean Arp, Barbara Hepworth, or Isamo Noguchi. The secret of her creations lies as much in their gentle presence as in the harmony they offer in the space with other works. She regularly invites visual artists, photographers, or ceramists to her showroom at the Galerie Vivienne to engage in dialog with her collections. Her way of continuing to share her poetic and sensitive approach to nature and the world.
